Green The Bid Hosts First Member Meeting Of 2022 With Project Drawdown’s Chad Frischmann
On January 26th, Green The Bid will hold its first member meeting of 2022 with featured guest speaker Chad Frischmann, lead researcher and principal architect of Project Drawdown. With a background in public policy, human rights, sustainable development, and environmental conservation, Chad works as a systems strategist to build a new, regenerative future.
In collaboration with a global team of researchers, Chad Frischmann designed global models to assess the world’s most effective climate solutions and determine if, when, and how the world can reach 'drawdown,' the point in time when the concentration of atmospheric greenhouse gasses begins to decline on a year-to-year basis. Chad’s talks have been featured at the University of Oxford, Harvard, the COP23, the World Business Council on Sustainable Development (WBCSD), the University of California at Berkeley, the Carbon Leadership Forum, the International Conference on Sustainable Development, and TED Global’s 'We the Future’, among many others.
Green The Bid’s inaugural meeting of 2022 will also provide updates on the non-profit organisation’s efforts to shift the commercial production industry to zero waste and net carbon neutral practices. Since its launch in the fall of 2020, Green The Bid has grown to 202 member companies from all industry sectors - brands, agencies, production companies, post production studios, crew and vendors. Additionally, Green The Bid is aligned with various industry organisations in the US and around the world, including AICP, APA, APCP, CDDP, Ciclope, D&AD, Free The Work, Owned By Women, poolhouse, SAASP, and YDA.
Membership to Green The Bid and the quarterly member meetings are free to attend. For companies interested in joining the organisation, additional information can be found here.
