Green The Bid members in production commit to adding, and advocating for, line items for sustainability on each shoot’s bid as standard practice. The new AICP Bid Form includes Sustainable Practices on line 139, or you can add your own. Green The Bid agencies and brands have agreed to keep these budget line costs intact so that you can make it a reality. 

Additionally, production members agree to actively partner with a sustainability consultant, or work to independently implement sustainable practices on every shoot, supporting their vendors to meet industry standards and encouraging all partners in the production process - from pre-production to post - to adhere to these standards and practices. 

Production members also agree to come up with a data deletion plan for stored assets, especially around redundant/ safety copies of the data on servers, on drives and in the cloud after projects have shipped & wrapped.

We suggest archiving elements longterm on LTO tape instead of on servers, on drives or in the cloud, and offsetting all data storage, as this is the biggest waste area associated with the post process.
